LSA-01 · The Owner

Judgement built on three and a half decades at the sharp end.

Lehane Strategic Advisory is the independent practice of Martin Lehane. Martin founded and built one of Ireland's leading industrial, environmental and spill response businesses, which was acquired by a global emergency response organisation in 2022. He went on to serve as its Chief Executive for Europe, with extended oversight across the Middle East and Africa, before stepping back from full-time executive life in 2025.

His operational record spans land, inland waterway and marine incidents — including leadership of the response to major international casualties — alongside decades of commercial experience pricing, tendering, resourcing and delivering complex environmental and industrial services work.

The practice is deliberately small: one senior adviser, a limited number of clients, and direct access at every stage. You engage the person who does the work.

LSA-02 · Services

Three streams of work. One standard of advice.

Technical judgement leads everything the practice does — grounded in what actually happens on site, in the water, and in the claim file.

Engaged by retainer

LSA-03 · Retainers

Retained advisory, structured so both sides know exactly what's included.

Each tier carries a defined monthly allowance of advisory credits — clear deliverables, clear limits, no ambiguity. Larger pieces of work are scoped and agreed separately.

Bronze

A senior sounding board on call.

  • Monthly advisory credit allowance
  • Bid / no-bid triage on tenders
  • Scheduled advisory calls
  • Email and phone counsel within allowance

For firms that want experienced judgement available when decisions arise.

Silver

Regular, structured involvement.

  • Expanded advisory credit allowance
  • Everything in Bronze
  • Periodic on-site or in-person sessions
  • Review of key operational documents

For firms in active growth with live tenders, clients and operational decisions.

Gold

Closest to a part-time senior director.

  • Priority advisory credit allowance
  • Everything in Silver
  • Deeper involvement in strategy and planning
  • Priority scheduling for scoped projects

For firms that want ongoing senior direction without a full-time hire.

Outside the retainer. Full tender and bid support, ISO systems programmes, and other substantial pieces of work are scoped and charged as standalone projects, so retainer clients always know where the line sits — and never pay twice for the same thing.

LSA-04 · Approach

How an engagement runs.

01 / Triage

Remote first, always fast

Every instruction starts with rapid remote triage — establishing the facts, the risks and the right next step before anyone travels anywhere.

02 / Scope

Defined deliverables

Each engagement is scoped in writing: what will be delivered, by when, and what sits outside scope. No open-ended commitments in either direction.

03 / Deliver

Accountable end to end

The services are provided under the responsibility and supervision of the adviser you engaged, who remains accountable for all reports, audits and advice delivered under this engagement.

04 / Availability

Honest about capacity

Incident attendance is offered on a best-efforts, subject-to-availability basis. Remote triage is always the first response — and often resolves the urgent question the same day.
